Engineer Surveyor Cranes / Lifting Equipment - Glasgow & surrounds
£45 per hour + average 45-50hr billing week + 2hrs paid travel time + mileage + overnight accommodation & food allowance (if required for projects in other parts of Scotland)
A leading global Professional Services organisation is looking to engage with an experienced field-based contract Engineer Surveyor for Cranes / Lifting Equipment to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
Engineer Surveyor Cranes / Lifting Equipment remit;
- Working out from home, undertake testing & inspection of Cranes and other Lifting Equipment to include MEWPS, HIAB, FLTs etc to ensure compliance with current statutory requirements under LOLER/PUWER
- Complete testing & Inspections actross a diverse range of industries to include Nuclear, Automotive, Public Sector, Mobile Plant, Food manufacturing, Chemical manufacturing, Banking, Retail, Logistics, Emergency Services, Transport and Construction
- Produce comprehensive and detailed inspection reports
- Liaise & plan your schedule with internal departments to ensure works are completed
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and internal business relations
Engineer Surveyor - Cranes / Lifting Equipment profile;
- Min NVQ4 or HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Residing in Scotland, you will ideally be happy to work both regionally and further afield in Scotland depending on project requirements
- Min 3yrs experience as an Engineer Surveyor / Inspector for Lifting Equipment including Cranes, MEWPS, FLTs etc
- Excellent working knowledge of statiutory testing & inspecting equipment to LOLER / PUWER / H&S regulations
- Comfortable working at height / Working at height certificate
- Accurate and timely reporting experience
- UK driving License & use of own car
