About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism? In this role, you will work one-on-one with a student with autism, helping them to unlock their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Application Requirements: • Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs. • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one support to a student with autism, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience. • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies tailored to the student's needs. • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to monitor progress and adapt support as needed. • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment that promotes the student’s social and emotional development.
