Press Setter

The business are an established and successful precision manufacturer of small components and pressings.

They are seeking to recruit Press Setter for their busy operations.

Reporting to the Works Manager - the main purpose of the role is to set and operate power presses.

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

• Setting and operation of machinery to acheive production targets
• Carry out first off, last off quality checks
• Read, interpret and understand technical drawing details
• Ensure machine is running to optimal level
• Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified
• Care and maintenance of machinery and tooling

I would be keen to receive your application if you hold the following experience;

• Experience of press setting
• Expertise on Bruderer or Bihler presses would be advantageous
• An interest in engineering principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• A "can do" attitude and punctual

The role is Days Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 3pm

Pay rate - 13.50 per hour
