Learning Support Assistant - Ashford (ASD and SEMH Focus)
Full-time, Monday to Friday
£83.33 per day

Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: Ashford School: Special Needs School supporting secondary-aged pupils
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic special needs school in Ashford, supporting secondary-aged students with ASD and SEMH needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing, inclusive environment where you can help students thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to secondary-aged students with ASD and SEMH needs, assisting with both learning and daily tasks. Offer personal care where necessary, ensuring the well-being and dignity of each student. Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) and manage behaviour effectively. Create a supportive, safe, and engaging environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to an hour for work. The legal right to work in the UK. Ability to provide personal care, including assistance with toileting and feeding, when required. Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and obtain clearances.
