Software Engineer

Software Engineer - Milton Keynes (on-site) - £50k An excellent opportunity for a mid-level Software Engineer to join a well-established company. You would need to attend the office in Buckinghamshire 4 days per week initially with a view to reducing the days atter the probation period. The role includes: Support, configuration, and development of products that form part of a management system and user interfaces for printing press machines and other industrial applications. Configuration and support of databases running on Windows PCs and servers running software developed in Visual Studio .NET. Remote support of existing customers. Requirements: Minimum two years of experience Good communication skills – to understand and document customer needs. Microsoft SQL. Able to set up, write scripts and store procedures and analyse database information. Microsoft SQL Reporting Services – able to create and modify reports. Familiarity with the practical application of SQL databases. C++ Software test and debugging – testing, diagnosing, and resolving faults within existing software. Visual Studio (Visual Basic and C#) – able to modify, adapt and develop software. Good general IT skills using Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 11 OS.
