Position: Electronics Design Manager Location: Manchester + Hybrid Work from Home Salary: Up to £70,000 The Role: Our client is now looking for an Electronics Design Manager to lead a team of electronic engineers in the design and development of bespoke projects. Our client is a design consultancy who provide services to a host of clients across a range of industry sectors, and they are looking for an experienced, electronics professional with proven team leadership experience and a strong technical background, ideally across electronic design and embedded software. Key Responsibilities: Management and project lead tasks to enable to enable others to concentrate on the technical aspects Interface with the clients to understand their requirements Assist with the technical delivery of projects. Estimating work required for a project and updating the estimates as projects progress Assigning work and task packages whilst managing project progress Keeping customers appraised of project progress, updated time estimates, and managing their expectations. Assisting with writing specifications, project plans and other project related documentationThis role will best suit an experienced electronics engineer who has moved in to a team leader or management role and is looking to progress their career in a similar level role. You will be a hands on manager and take on the role of technical lead, so it is important you are still up to date technically. You will be a strong communicator, good person manager and have experience leading teams and technical projects to successful completion.
