PRU Teaching Assistant – Pupil Referral Unit – All-through – Islington - £85 to £95 per day – Starting ASAP – Full time * PRU Teaching Assistant required for a PRU Secondary School in Islington. * PRU Teaching Assistant available to start ASAP. * PRU Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills. * Experience working in a PRU or a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school is ideal, preferable backgrounds in tutoring, sports, music or art is welcome. The Role – PRU Teaching Assistant As a PRU Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students aged 5-16 in developing vital life skills, with the aim of aiding their reintegration into mainstream education. The role requires managing challenging behaviour, so prior experience in behaviour management is essential. While experience in a PRU or similar setting is preferable, a background in sports coaching or tutoring is also valued, to help guide and motivate young people. The School – PRU Teaching Assistant This PRU School is based in Islington, with close transport links to the Northern Line and Great Northern services.
