Fire Stopper

An internation leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on a large industrial project, carrying out new installations and remediation works to fire resistant materials. The works will be based just outside of Slough on a large scale data centre project. Most works will be service penetrations and batt board installations, with experience in reactive coating required. The successful candidate will have: * At least three years’ fire stopping experience * NVQ level 2 passive fire protection * Valid CSCS card * Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound * Experience working using tracing apps to record works completed * Asbestos Awareness certificate Roles and responsibilities * Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification * Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately * Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work * Liaise with customers and members of the general public What’s on offer? * Fire stopping work on a large industrial site * Approx. 8 weeks work * £200.00 per day CIS (based on 8hrs working) * Weekly payments * Free parking on site This project is due to start on late October and is expected to run for at least 10 weeks If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your application by applying via this advert and one of the ProGroup team will be in touch.
