Senior DevOps Engineer – Front Office Platforms (London) - Global Hedge Fund A leading Global Hedge Fund here in London is looking to make a Senior DevOps hire to join their front office platform/infrastructure team. Role Overview: Join our Front Office Platforms team to enhance technology solutions for our quantitative development and trading teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and improve platform features for multiple teams. Contribute to a cloud-native continuous delivery stack. Collaborate with teams on strategic internal product requirements. Enhance platform security, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Automate processes and promote best practices in Cloud and DevOps. Learn new technologies and troubleshoot effectively. Experience Required: Essential: 4+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Desirable: Software engineering background. Technical Skills: Essential: ~4+ years with CI/CD technologies. ~ Experience with deployment units (servers, containers, serverless). ~ Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure). ~ Proficient in automation scripting and Linux. ~ Basic database knowledge, Kubernetes, Docker, and Serverless Framework or AWS SAM. Desirable: AWS experience, GitHub Actions, Argo CD. Proficiency in Python, Packer, and PostgreSQL. Basic knowledge of distributed computing (Ray, Dask, JAX).
