**Job Summary:** As a Site Maintenance Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in delivering maintenance solutions to meet the company's and clients needs and standards. You will perform various woodworking tasks, including cabinetry, framing, shelving, and more, with a keen understanding of client requirements. Your role will involve proactive fault-finding, problem-solving, and clear communication with clients and colleagues.
This is a permanent employed PAYE role and would suit someone looking for a long term opportunity.
**Key Responsibilities & Accountability's:** - Read and interpret designs to meet architect specifications. - Prepare drawings for cabinetry, framing, and construction projects on-site. - Design and install fitted wooden shelves and cabinets. - Install fixtures and fittings, including handles, locks, and hinges. - Perform other general carpentry duties. - Liaise with the Service Manager, Clients, Suppliers, and other tradesmen.
**Skills and Qualifications:** - Qualified Carpenter/Joiner, minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years of relevant carpentry/joinery experience. - Exceptional joinery skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Computer literate.
