Job Advertisement: Business Teacher (Full-Time) Duration: January 2025 - July 2025 Location: Bury Salary: £150 - £220 per day, depending on experience and qualificationsEmpowering Learning are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Business Teacher to join an esteemed independent day school with a proud 450 year history of academic excellence. The position will be covering from January 2025 to July 2025. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator with a strong background in teaching Business Studies up to KS5 students (ages 11-18). The ideal candidate should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience in teaching Business Studies; please note that applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will not be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies to a diverse group of senior school students. Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business concepts and prepare them for academic assessments. Contribute to the school community by supporting school events and participating in extracurricular activities. Uphold and promote the values and ethos of Bury Grammar School. Requirements: Qualifications: Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). DBS Check: A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting. Experience: Proven experience in teaching Business Studies up to KS5 level Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for teaching.
