We are currently recruiting for experienced Site supervisors with substation experience  The role: Overview of responsibilities but not limited to) Ensure that workplaces under your control have effective systems, arrangements, and supervision for providing a safe workplace and suitable welfare facilities. Review, maintain, update, and amend safe systems of work to ensure it is safe and without risk to health, and the changes are recorded in Project Health and Safety Plans  Ensure that all project personnel have the necessary experience, training and knowledge to carry out the duties allocated to them.  Identify and recommend necessary training for any project personnel with particular emphasis on new and young personnel and those involved in high-risk activities. Ensure that all project personnel attend induction training prior to commencing work and receive regular toolbox training. Investigate all accidents and incidents and communicate findings to the relevant personnel. Managing safety on site, including provision of inductions and toolbox talks to site operatives. Effective time management to achieve both external and internal deadlines, identifying priorities on significant issues.  Plan-ahead and be organised. Be responsible for the operatives’ time sheets being filled in correctly, showing the daily progress, operatives names, rates, works numbers, hours worked, plant and vehicles (hired and BB owned) utilised and work carried out What we need from you:. Previous experience of supervising on Substation projects SMSTS Nation Grid Ticket Effective Communication Skills Excellent relationship management skills Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team for success What we offer: Competitive salary 39-hour Standard working week.
