GSL Education are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in one of our friendly local schools in Waterlooville. This school provides highly effective education, therapy, welfare and support for both boys and girls aged from 5 to 16 years who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs. This school is currently seeking a positive person to join their primary team working with children in Key Stage 1 and 2.
A suitable candidate will have experience working with children who have complex learning difficulties and will enjoy building positive relationships.
Job role:
- Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills.
- Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils.
- Working with Key stage 1 and 2 aged pupils.
- Working under the guidance of a teacher supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks.

- Full time 8:45am – 3:15pm (Mon – Fri)
- £384.60 - £450 per week
- Temporary to permanent contract
- Location: Waterlooville
- Start date: ASAP
