Your new role
As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of office fitout projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates by analysing project plans and specifications.
- Evaluating offers from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conducting site visits to gather essential information.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
- Preparing and presenting detailed reports and bids.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
