The Senior Planner job role itself where you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project programmes to ensure timely project delivery. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to integrate programmes, identify risks, and provide strategic planning support. The Senior Planner will leverage advanced planning techniques and software to enhance project timelines and resource allocation. More specifically:
- Programme Development and Maintenance.
- Develop detailed project programmes, including all phases from initiation to completion.
- Maintain and update project programme based on actual progress and changes in project scope.
- Capture and record as-planned versus as-built information, demonstrate the impact of delay events, and add any new or modified tasks and sequences.
You will be playing to your strengths in critical path analysis, resource management, risk management, reporting & documentation, stakeholder communications, program optimisation, software proficiency, training & compliance. You will have
To be successful as Senior Planner, we are looking for a construction planning professional with a healthy mix of the following:
- Education: degree in Construction Management, Project Management Qualifications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project programming, with at least 3-5 years in a senior scheduling role.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in programme software predominantly Elecosoft Power Project, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource levelling techniques.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Effective communication and people skills.
- Attributes: Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Right to Work in the UK
- Full UK Driving Licence
