Sales Manager. Permanent, Full time, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Our client, is a Northern Ireland based organisation with a global client base and a prodigious business plan in motion. We are seeking a Sales professional with a background in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or the Power generation Sector to join at an exciting time in the organisation s success story.
The Sales Manager will join a small team in the East Antrim area. Due to the nature of this role, please note, remote working is not possible. The position will also entail some travel to suppliers, customers, and parent company branches. Hours of work are 9-5 Monday to Thursday and 9-1 Friday.
The Sales Manager will play an integral role in supporting, implementing and developing strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue. This role is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and analysing sales data to identify areas for growth and improvement.
You will need:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or any relevant field.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior role within engineering.
- A strong understanding and experience in using data analytics and business intelligence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to meet targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify target markets and customer segments to drive revenue growth.
- Generate leads through various channels, qualify leads, ensure that is properly segmented and converted into sales opportunities.
- Gather market data and competitive insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and offer tailored solutions. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, research potential markets, industries, and partnerships to expand the company's customer portfolio.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, Technical and finance to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
The starting salary for this opportunity is expected to be between £35000 and £44000 per annum.
