SANZA Teaching agency are currently seeking a teaching assistant for a bustling and creative 2-from entry school in Hounslow (Brentford). They are seeking a teaching assistant to support a girl with social, emotional, mental health difficulties (SEMH).
The role
The role is to support a girl in year 3 who has some social and emotional difficulties (SEMH) The girl can display some challenging behaviour from time-to-time, but it is lower level You will also help out with general teaching assistant responsibilities as the girl does not need constant support This is a highly rewarding position for an experienced teaching assistant or a graduate looking to pursue a career in education
Key responsibilities as a teaching assistant:
Provide individual support to the pupil with ensuring their safety and well-being Help implement and follow the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and behaviour management strategies Collaborate closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to plan and adapt activities to meet the pupil's specific needs Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the pupil, promoting their social integration with peers Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, providing regular feedback on the child's progress
