Integration Product Owner - London, About usDS Smith PLC has embarked on an ambitious digital and data transformation journey to drive innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. As part of this journey, the company recognizes the need for a robust and scalable message integration platform to facilitate seamless data exchange and communication between various systems and applications across the organization. To address this need, DS Smith is evaluating and implementing either Boomi or MuleSoft as its iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution, leveraging AWS as the cloud vendor. About the roleThe Product Owner role will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of the new message integration platform, ensuring it aligns with the company's digital and data strategy and meets the evolving business requirements.Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction aligned with the company's digital and data strategy.Design and improve the operating model for integration needs forecasting, planning, building, operating, optimizing, and decommissioning.Lead the definition, planning, and execution of the integration platform implementation roadmap.Facilitate user acceptance testing, address technical debt, performance issues, and scalability concerns within the platform.Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders across the organization to meet the needs of various business units.Maintain and groom the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.Manage stakeholder expectations, including business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors, through effective communication.Collaborate with the selected iPaaS vendor (Boomi or MuleSoft) and other third-party vendors for successful implementation and support.Embrace and promote Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) for iterative development and continuous improvement.Ensure the integration platform adheres to compliance and security standards, including data privacy regulations and IT policies. About youBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Experience in product management, preferably with integration platforms or related technologies.Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product management frameworks (SAFe).Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST), and data transformation techniques.Familiarity with iPaaS solutions like Boomi or MuleSoft, and their implementation and configuration.Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and integrating with on-premises systems.
