Assembly Fitter Benefits – Free On-Site Parking, Accessible Via Public Transport, Cooking Facilities, Supportive Team, Excellent Working Environment Title – Assembly Fitter Hours – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4.30pm Fridays Salary - £14ph Location – Doncaster Role – Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for the successful Assembly Fitter to work for an engineering manufacturer who have been established over 60 years and have gained themselves a reputation for excellence within that time, due to a steady increase in orders and design thereof they are now looking to recruit and bolster out their fitting teams where duties will include: * Assembling machinery equipment * Working with hand tools including grinder and electric drills etc * Welding of products * Working from engineering drawings * Operating overhead crane It is expected that the successful Assembly Fitter will have experience of working in a fitting or mechanical assembly role previously and: * Be qualified to City & Guilds in mechanical engineering or equivalent * Be apprentice trained or time served * Have experience in bench fitting * Have experience of both Mig and Tig welding on both mild and stainless steels * Have experience in fabricating with mild and stainless steels * Be competent in working with hand tools, including electrical grinders and electric drills * Understand engineering drawings * Hold a full UK licence Assembly Fitter Benefits – Free On-Site Parking, Accessible Via Public Transport, Cooking Facilities, Supportive Team, Excellent Working Environment Title – Assembly Fitter Hours – 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 8am-4.30pm Fridays Salary - £14ph Location – Doncaster Role – Permanent Major Recruitment act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and Employment Business for temporary opportunities
