Groomfield Recruitment are looking for a Stock Manager for their manufacturing client based in Birmingham Nechells
This role is a temporary to permanent position - interviewing from 04/11/2024 onwards.
Pay: Between 16.00 - 17.710 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00 Flexibility required
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations within the stores, including; receiving, storing, and distribution of materials/parts to the relevant departments within the manufacturing facility.
- Leading the team, including; motivating the team, training and developing team members, following operational guidelines and ensuring team also follow these.
- Quality control, including; safe storage, correct handling and distribution of materials/products within the stores area.
- Safety; including promoting and enforcing a safe work place, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Operational management, including; improvement of working areas, identifying opportunities for improvement to increase productivity.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years within a warehouse operational environment.
- Minimum 2 years experience within a supervisor/management role.
- FLT Counterbalance license in-date and 5 years experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- Comfortable with working with Microsoft packages, Excel and Word/Outlook.
