Mobile Patrol Officer

I am currently working with a Surrey based long established client who provides Mobile patrols, Key-holding, Alarm Response and Unlock/Locking services to homes and businesses across the Surrey and Berkshire area. They are holders of SIA Approved Contractor status and NSI Gold. We are looking to recruit a Night-time and Weekends Mobile Patrol/Alarm Response Security Officer to join their existing team. The start and end of shift is at their offices in Walton on Thames. This role would ideally suit candidates with previous Mobile Patrol experience, however occupations such as taxi drivers or delivery drivers would be considered. Some of the duties include: * Attending alarm activation's/rapid response in various locations. * Patrolling various properties. * Driving a manual company provided vehicle, fitted with GPS devices. * Locking and unlocking of properties. * Conduct security check of the premises looking for insecurities, reporting, taking appropriate action and escalating to supervisors and management. * Working 12-hour shifts (Apply online only) or vice-versa at weekends, either on a 5 on 3 off or 4 on 4 off rota. To be considered candidates will need the following: * Ideally already possess a current and active SIA licence, either SG/DS or CP * Have a full UK manual driving licence, with two years’ experience, ideally clean but 3-6 points would be considered * A 5-year checkable work history * Preferably have experience of mobile security tasks although other driving position experience would be considered * Preferably have some knowledge of the locl area * Be able to work shifts which will involve days and nights. * Genuinely be flexible and be able to cover for planned and short notice absence * Have a good work ethic and a positive attitude to security The candidate profile: * A person of integrity, honesty and diligence. * A smart and presentable person with excellent customer service skills * A person who is capable using android phones/IOS tablets * A person who is able to work as a team but also work alone * A flexible and positive thinking individual that can work well when under pressure * Ideally be 25 years of age for vehicle insurance purposes, candidates 23 years plus would be considered * Lives within a 10–15-mile radius of their Walton on Thames offices and have your own transport to get there The rate of pay is between £11.25 - £11.65 per hour depending on experience, on-site parking is available, full uniform and training is provided and there is the opportunity of overtime when available.
