Job Description
You will be responsible for:
Managing Assembly teams for the manufacture and repair of electronic systems
To ensure manufacturing deadlines and KPIs are achieved in line with expectations of the business
Ensure high standards of right first time, efficiency and service level are consistently achieved
Ensure good levels of communication within the Team.
Provide positive support to team members as required.
To adhere to and champion UK Health and Safety Regulations and safe working practices.
To adhere to quality standards, factory rules and HR policies.
To make positive contribution to continuous improvement activities.
Establish good working relationship with the Repair team and key members of Manufacturing.
Managing the reporting of Health and Safety issues / near misses
Knowledge/experience/skills
Previous experience managing production/manufacturing teams
Hold an understanding of manufacturing techniques and principles
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
