Job Summary Requirement for a Process Automation Specialist with strong analytical skills and financial services experience in Core Banking (T24), Treasury and possibly Payments. Technologies will include RPA using UiPATH, Workflow, OCR, Microsoft/365 automation and Microsoft Power Automate (Power Platform). Very strong UiPath administration and development skills are a must. Previous experience automating Office processes with Microsoft Power Automate is expected. The SME will have the background and experience to bring our existing UiPath automation platform up to date (server & RPA UiPath Component upgrades), review our existing automated processes, propose and implement improvements to the existing process automation delivery approach and process configuration management. They will work alongside the existing senior RPA developer. Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities Participate in Business and automation workshops, contribute application delivery, recommend best of the breed solutions. Provide business and functional analysis Design, build and support automated processes using RPA technologies (UiPath is of particular interest, also Power Automate). Manage & execute the engagement along all change phases: requirements, functional specifications, technical analysis/design, Build, Test, and Deployment. Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand stakeholder needs and offer analytical support. Document automation processes and required configurations. Work closely with the Application Services team to ensure any automation platform improvements do not impact existing automations and workflows. Work closely with business analysts and SMEs to help and mature existing solution and process collectively. Build a new lower-level UI Path environment and integrate it with lower-level banking system environments. Carry out upgrade of UI Path Orchestrators from 2022.10.5 to 2024.10.x. Carry out upgrade of UI Path Robot Studio Machines from 2022.10.5 to 2024.10.x. Coordinate OS upgrade of UI Path Robot PCs from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Oversee and support the Technical Services Group with the upgrade of UI Path Orchestrators from Windows Server 2019 to Windows Server 2022. Update existing technical documentation and produce new where missing. Improve resilience of robot processes using Microsoft cloud platforms such as SharePoint for when those get changed without any notice. Introduce UI Path configuration management to track changes to UI Path platform and automated processes through their whole delivery lifecycle. Recommend best of the breed solutions to improve SDLC, bring the best industry standards. Propose and implement improvements to existing Office automation delivery processes, i.e. introduce automated solution delivery for UI Path. Propose and implement improvements to the production incident troubleshooting process. Implement troubleshooting approach that utilises lower-level environments to prevent future production failures from unforeseen external application changes (i.e. SharePoint updates) Additional outputs: Review/advise on best practices for a setup of a new Power Automation platform for BACB Identify existing office automation processes that could be migrated to Microsoft Power Automate platform Required Qualifications and Experience At least 10 years of Information technology experience with minimum of 7 years working with UI Path and 2 years working with Power Automate. Very strong knowledge and experience delivering Ui PATH RPA solutions – both development and administration. UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Hands-on regular knowledge and use of products such as workflow and OCR based tools. Broad IT knowledge, skills and experience – including appropriate tools, processes and policies used in the development space. Knowledge of SQL Experience of working in a structured and regulated software development environment Previous exposure to Banking operations/process background and Trade Finance is expected Experience of office productivity tools such as OCR and translation products Practical knowledge of Software Delivery Processes Experience of full SDLC with process analysis, design, and implementation; business and technical requirements; problem-solving; and system(s) testing, including UAT and bug fixes Experience with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies. Experience in design of RPA solutions working alongside business analysts and the business itself Experience of adding enhancement and automation to a Microsoft/365 environment The role holder must be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and liaise effectively with professional staff and customers throughout the business Able to understand Business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ability to track, manage and document all issues to ensure a successfully delivered solution Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to quickly understand how systems and applications across the business hang together Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Able to operate calmly and effectively in complex and challenging tasks. Experience with JIRA and Confluence. Nice to Have skills: Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer (PL400) Ui Path and/or Microsoft Solution Architect Certifications a big advantage. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.
