Location: Belfast, NI, UK (Hybrid, in office 1 -3 days per week) Job Summary for role of Senior Technical Writer: Join us as a Senior Technical Writer, where you'll play a pivotal role in helping us to develop content for our suite of manufacturing and cost estimating software products. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Writer who has experience with docs tool and someone who is ready to help us transform our writing platforms and tools. This role will report directly to the Head of User Content and will work closely with our development teams, product managers and a variety of our stakeholders. Responsibilities for role of Senior Technical Writer: Maintain and improve our aPriori documentation Deliver high quality documentation to our user base, primarily for ouraPriori Cloud documentation set, including aPriori Design, aPrioriWorkspace and other products. Work with the software and quality engineers, product managers, trainers, usability experts and other content developers within an Agile product development process. Drive the transformation of our documentation platform. Develop tools and platform changes for our docs to enable a collaborative culture of content creation throughout the company, taking a "docs-as-code" approach, drive improvements within our documentation tools and liaising with our engineering teams to collaborate on larger technology products. Required Skills/Abilities for Senior Technical Writer: Bachelors degree in a IT related discipline, either computer science, technical writing or similar area Strong interest and previous experience with implementing and maintaining documentation technologies, including working with scripts, API's and transforming documentation platforms. Minimum 5 years experience developing documentation for software products, with a track record of writing clear and concise comprehensive documentation on complex multi level software products (KG1) (DB2) Hands on work approach with all levels of software Previous experience with docs-as-code approaches. Minimum 2 years Previous experience with documentation tools such as MadCap flare.
