Senior Planner - Flagship super-prime residential project Permanent, nr Tidworth, Hampshire Start ASAP This well-established (60-year-old +), prestigious, family run building contractor specialises in renovation, extension and refurbishment of period and bespoke one-off properties. They have a requirement for a Senior Planner to join the team on one of the most prestigious high-end residential projects in the South East. The project itself is a major refurbishment (£90m+) of a Listed 17th Century private country estate, of approximately 2000+ acres. This is a once in a lifetime project to have on the CV! Job Summary: Responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project programmes to ensure timely project delivery. Close collaboration with project managers, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate programmes, identify risks, and provide strategic planning support. The Senior Planner will leverage advanced planning techniques and software to enhance project timelines and resource allocation. ​ Key Skills: Critical Path Analysis, Resource Management, Risk Management, Reporting and Documentation, Stakeholder Communication, Programme Optimisation, Software Proficiency, Training and Guidance, Compliance and Standards. Qualifications: Education: degree in Construction Management, Project Management Qualifications, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project programming, with at least 3-5 years in a senior scheduling role. Software Skills: Proficiency in programme software predominantly Elecosoft Power Project, and other relevant tools. Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource levelling techniques. Attributes: Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role can also be referred to as a Planner, Senior Planner, Programmer and Senior Programmer.
