Panel Wirers

The Company

Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Panel Wirer for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Birtley area.

The Role

• Building and wiring of control panels, cabinets and sub-assemblies
• Assembly control panel back-plates with components/trunking
• Following panel layout, schematics diagrams and reading engineering drawings
• Marking of devices and labelling, etc
• Wiring, cutting, stripping, crimping and fitting of buzz bars
• Working with back plates, filling frame-work
• Working with switchboards
• Wiring of electrical devices including cable management and termination
• Experience with use of hand tools and power tools

The Person

• Preferably time served
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Self-disciplined and reliable
• Excellent inter-personnel communication skills
• Enthusiastic, determined, self-disciplined and reliable

Shifts:

Dayshift

• 8:00am - 16:30pm, Monday - Friday

Rates:

15.00 per hour
(Rates are subject to change based on experience)

Candidates will be reviewed after a six month probation, rates can be up to 20.00 per hour.
