Smile Education is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Cannock, Staffordshire. Role Overview: As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work across various primary schools in Canncok, stepping in to support pupils and teachers on an as-needed basis. You’ll assist with classroom activities, pupil engagement, and ensure a positive, productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons. Assisting pupils with their individual learning needs, including SEN support. Working with small groups or 1:1 with students to provide targeted learning support. Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive attitudes. Following safeguarding policies to ensure the well-being of all pupils.Requirements: A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Previous experience in a primary school setting is preferred. Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their education. Strong communication and organisational skills. Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups. A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Eligibility to work in the UK.What We Offer: Competitive pay rates.
