Senior Oracle Platform and DevOps Engineer

Senior Oracle Platform and DevOps Engineer UK based – Hybrid working 12-month initial contract with view to extend Excellent Daily rate (inside IR35) Purview’s Tier 1 banking client are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Platform & DevOps Engineer to join the growing team on an initial 12-month basis with the view to extend. The successful Platform & DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following areas: ·Experience and knowledge of OCI and specially Oracle Cloud @ Customer and Oracle Functions. ·Experience and knowledge of Core Oracle DBA skills with OEM, SQL and PL/SQL considered advantageous. ·Experience and knowledge of OEL / RHEL, RPMs, Shell Scripting, PHP, Ansible, JSON, YAML and Puppet. Knowledge or RUST is desirable. ·Experience and knowledge of virtualization i.e. VMware VMs, Vagrant, Virtual Box, Docker, Kubernetes. ·API Development experience with Python FASTAPI and tooling knowledge (e.g. Postman/ Newman, Sonarqube, Cucumber, Terraform etc.) ·End-to-end knowledge of build, package, automated testing, and deployment of CI/CD pipelines. ·Able to use Jira / GIT / Jenkins / Confluence / Nexus / Splunk / Kong with proficiency. ·Able to create dashboards as part of observability in Splunk.
