The Opportunity Our Metering & Billing team currently manage the energy billing for core utilities including District Heat, Electricity and Water for over 18,000 customers. As a result of successful company growth we are looking for a qualified Electrician who is interested in becoming a specialist Metering & Billing Technician to support our contracts across London. This role would suit a motivated individual from a domestic electrical installation background where they are now looking for an opportunity to join a leading Energy company that can offer them the continuous professional development and progression opportunities needed to make it in the Renewable Energy sector. The Role Reporting to the Metering & Billing Team Leader you will be responsible for: * Installing and commissioning pre-payment metering equipment in line with manufacturer, company and industry guidelines * Commissioning Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and resolving any issues encountered during the process * Providing frontline support to customers and clients, responding to reactive callouts when needed as part of a rota * Monitoring and recording equipment stock levels and replenishing them where required Skills/Experience: * Demonstrable experience in domestic electrical installations and repairs * Relevant electrical qualifications e.g 18th Edition, City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical etc. * Previous knowledge of or experience with heating/hot water systems advantageous will be advantageous * Full UK driving licence The Package * Starting base salary of £35,000 - £40,000 DOE * Vehicle and fuel card * Contributory Company Pension Scheme * Non-contributory death-in-service insurance * Employee Assistance Programme * 25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holidays. * Additional holidays awarded in line with length of service * Option to purchase/sell additional holidays * Discounted gym membership across the UK * EV charging points where possible Applications will be processed within 28 days of receipt.
