At Royal Mail, the festive season is our busiest time of the year, and it’s our seasonal workers who make delivering the magic of Christmas possible. As a Mail Sorter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every Christmas card and present safely reaches its destination. As a Seasonal Mail Sorter working at the heart of our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering Christmas to the nation. You’ll be: * Unloading mail and packages from our vans * Moving mail and packages through our centres * Helping sort mail and packages If you’re ready for a busy, hands-on role, come join us as a Seasonal Mail Sorter and help deliver festive joy, while earning some extra cash to fill your Christmas stocking. * Early shift (between 6am – 2pm) – £12.54 * Late Shift (between 2pm – 10pm) – £13.90 * Night Shift (between 10pm – 6am) – £15.11 * Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h) The Ideal Candidate: * Organised and Efficient: Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. * Flexibility and Ataptability: Ability to switch between tasks during a shift. * Strenght and Stamina: Ability to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift/move mail bags (upto 11kg) with also being comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.
