This is a leadership level role and will blend both deep domain and technical expertise within a feature team and great passion for coaching and developing people in a “player-coach” model.Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Senior Software EngineerSALARY: £68,202 - £75,780LOCATION: BristolHOURS: Full timeWORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, on site in our Bristol office.About this opportunityA great opportunity has arisen within the Digital Cyber Security Enhance feature team to help ensure our services are protected, network traffic flow is optimised, and we continue on with our transformation of our processes and products. We’re looking for a self- motivated engineer, with experience in development best practices.  Our Akamai Automation Toolset utilises Java, Python, Bash, JavaScript to deliver infrastructure as code and/or leverage APIs to deliver end to end products for our platforms.You’ll have the opportunity to help drive a great engineering culture, build great code, develop wider skills to develop end to end products for platforms and be a member of a wider engineering community passionate about sharing knowledge and learning. About usJoin us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you’ll enjoy a fulfilling career where you’re free to be yourself.
