Vehicle Technician

Vehicle Technician required to join a growing dealership in Southend. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing company with a great reputation.

Salary is dependent on experience, entry level starts from 25,000 per annum. However if you come to us with experience, then salaries go up to around 45,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will be a technician currently, you will be practically minded and committed to developing your skillset.

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.

Key Duties

• Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
• Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
• Participation with in-house and manufacturer based training.

Requirements:

• NVQ/City & Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard).
• Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points
• Ability to provide a friendly customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use the diagnostic equipment

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• 28,00.00 - 45,000.00
• 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays

• Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 18.00 pm, alternate Saturdays 8.00 am - 13.00 pm.
