What They re Looking For:

As their Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of contracts across multiple fire protection projects. You ll ensure all work meets contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and their own strict quality standards. This is a hands-on role where you ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to drive successful project delivery while managing risks and ensuring clear, effective communication.

Qualifications And Experience:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Manager role, ideally in the passive fire protection, construction, or fire safety sectors.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications, such as RICS, CIOB, and Blue Sky Accreditations are highly advantageous
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 5839) and building codes is beneficial.
  • Experience with inspections, Remediation and Installation.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading contract negotiations and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
  • Establishing project goals, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring they are adhered to.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between our company and clients for contract-related matters.
  • Conducting regular project status meetings with clients, contractors, and team members to review progress and address any concerns.
  • Ensuring that all projects comply with fire safety standards, building codes, and contractual obligations.
  • Managing budgets and providing financial oversight to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive record of all contracts, change orders, and related documentation.
  • Ensuring health and safety protocols are consistently upheld.
