We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a school supporting pupils aged 11 to 16. About the role: SEND Teaching Assistant (Full time, temporary) Bristol October 2024 – July 2025 The Role We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school supporting pupils aged between 11 – 16. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of needs: SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disability) and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), either 1-1 or in small groups. This role will be Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30. The School This School based in Bristol provides support for primary aged children (11-16) who have ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) as well as non-verbal needs. This School is extremely dedicated to serve their pupils, striving to develop ambition, confidence and potential for each and every one of them. They closely track the progress of students to ensure they achieve more than they ever thought possible and guarantee that there is effective and prompt support and intervention when needed.
