About the role: Are you a compassionate, energetic, and resourceful SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a meaningful role where every day brings a new challenge and reward? Starting in January 2025, you’ll be joining as a full-time, long-term SEN TA, providing essential support to students with a range of behavioural needs. Application Requirements: • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours. • A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them reach their potential. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues. • Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-oriented in challenging situations. • Relevant qualifications or a background in SEN support is a plus but not essential. Key Responsibilities: • Offer tailored support to students with challenging behaviours, creating individualised strategies to facilitate their learning and social development. • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to develop intervention plans and behaviour management strategies. • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that builds self-confidence and motivates students. • Engage students in structured activities, helping them to express themselves and thrive in a supportive setting. • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support.
