We are looking for 2 Day Based Engineers for our Telford site to complement our existing Engineering team. You will play a vital part in supporting the business and engineering department in both facility works and maintenance activities. The Engineer positions are a full-time role based in Telford, working 41.5 hours per week following a rotating days shift pattern. About the Role As the Days Engineer your responsibilities include: Support the department with maintenance activities - PPM & Corrective work Support in machine issue rectification Support in LOLER & PUWER compliance activities; including crane servicing and statutory inspections General repairs to buildings including lighting, drains and toilets Responsible for all Telford properties Contractor management including Permit to Work Provide solutions at best value for the business Benefits Company pension Life assurance Free company products Free on-site parking Food, retail, holidays, cinema, and gyms discounts Wellness programmes, including Employee Assistance Program and OnDemand GP service Free early access to pay scheme Salary sacrifice schemes Employee referral scheme Essential Skills You will be a qualified craftsperson with certification (ONC/HNC/HND - Mech, Elec, multi-skilled), experience working in a maintenance environment and managing contractors. CMMS experience - working to PPM cycles and maintaining schedule adherence. Prior experience working in an FMCG environment. Previous experience in equipment specification, diagnostics, systems integration and maintenance coordination. Interpersonal skills to adapt to a diverse group of employees, customers and suppliers.
