Maintenance Supervisor Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex Salary: £45,000 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Sector: Facilities Maintenance Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong electrical background and a passion for facilities maintenance? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, where you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of maintenance services on a busy commercial site. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week on a static site in Burgess Hill, West Sussex Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying and rectifying any maintenance issues. Perform hands-on electrical maintenance tasks, including fault-finding, repairs, and installations. Manage the scheduling and completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks. Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on maintenance activities and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including job sheets, risk assessments, and service reports. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials. Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.Maintenance Supervisor Requirements: Electrical Qualifications: Must hold relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the facilities maintenance industry. Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
