H9 Technical Recruitment are hiring for a Director of Project Finance to work for our energy finance client in London where you will be responsible for project finance, specifically within clean technology, data centre and digital infrastructure sectors. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in structuring and executing complex financing solutions
Role and Responsibilities:
Project Financing: Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for collaboration and tailored financial solutions.
Financial Analysis and Modeling: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and develop financial models to assess project feasibility, risk, and return on investment.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Team Development: Mentor and develop a team of project finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with legal, risk management, and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives in energy and infrastructure financing, enhancing the bank's market position.
Education and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 7-10 years of experience in project finance, with a strong focus on clean technology, data centre and digital infrastructure projects.
Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in financial modeling, deal structuring, and risk assessment.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and guiding teams.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the energy and infrastructure sectors, including relevant market trends and regulatory frameworks
