Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for customer service? Our client, a well-established & family-owned bowling centre, are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional experience for all customers. In this pivotal role, you will manage a dedicated team while fostering a fun and friendly atmosphere. This role requires a commitment of 25-30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Rotating schedule, with shifts starting as early as 9am and finishing by 10:30pm. Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Efficiently operate and maintain EPOS tills, ensuring seamless transaction processing. Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions with precision, upholding accuracy in all cash handling procedures. Team Leadership: Motivate a small team, providing guidance, and support. Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming environment. Maintenance and Cleanliness: Ensure the bowling centre is clean, organised, and ready for a fantastic customer experience. Multi-Tasking: Being able to perform multiple tasks at one time is essential for this role, due to the nature of the business especially during busy periods.Qualifications: Proven managerial experience in a retail setting or similar background. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends. Proficient with EPOS systems and Excel for sales tracking. Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and team leadership experience.
