Position: Trainee Site Manager

Location: Aberdeen

Our client is a leading main contractor with a strong presence in the construction industry, specialising in new build residential and commercial projects. As they continue to expand their portfolio, we are assisting them in their search for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their team in Aberdeen.

The Role: As a Trainee Site Manager, you will be an integral part of the construction team. This role will offer you hands-on exposure to various aspects of site management, including planning, coordination, and execution of new build projects. Under the guidance of experienced site managers, you will gain valuable insights into project management, health and safety regulations, quality control, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist site managers in overseeing day-to-day construction activities on-site.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any potential issues or challenges.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers.
  • Participate in quality control inspections to maintain high construction standards.
  • Engage in regular communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Requirements:
