Mane Energy are looking for Project Planner/Project Control Engineer for exciting long term upcoming project in UK. Location: UK Duties: Develop and implement the project controls framework, including the Work Breakdown Structure, overall project plan, code of accounts, project estimates, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements. Lead performance measurement activities for all aspects of the project, including engineering, contracts, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction. Design and create reports and management tools to identify issues and recommend corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct schedule optimization, studies, and cost-benefit analyses to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Provide technical and operational leadership to the project controls team. Offer planning support to the project team, addressing all project planning-related aspects. Analyze updated project plans, identify risks or schedule conflicts, and report these to the project manager, highlighting potential impacts on critical project activities. Establish and execute policies, objectives, and standards for cost and schedule control and analysis. Identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling challenges. Review and approve project cost forecasts and progress reports. Ensure construction contracts are adequate in terms of cost and schedule requirements. Requirements: Preferred: Degree in Engineering. Essential: Experience in E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) contracting and planning. Proficient in using Primavera P3 and P6 project planning software. Demonstrated experience with major projects. Ability to assess project risks and understand necessary contingencies. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and standards. Ability to implement effective cost control measures.
