MTrec’s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a HR Apprentice on a permanent basis. The Job you’ll do * Due to the continued growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for an HR Apprentice to join our team. We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic person to provide key administrative support for our HR Department. * This is an ideal opportunity for someone enthusiastic and organised with great interpersonal skills. * This role will provide crucial support to the day to day running of the HR department and the successful candidate will provide administrative support across a wide range of projects. * You will be building strong relationships with people at all levels across our business, strong communication skills are essential. * You will also have access to some sensitive information and employee data, therefore discretion and professionalism is a must. * Review and process transactions in our HR systems, NT2, SWF & Kelio * Processing of employee data for the entire life cycle of an employee whether they are a new hire, transfer, or leaver to ensure the transaction is completed “Right First Time” and in a timely manner * To complete payroll data inputting monthly, ensuring documents are correctly authorised and processed and that any queries are raised. * To check timesheets for accuracy and compliance with polices and regulations. * Ensure payroll instructions are processed within given deadlines. * Being the first administrative point of contact providing support to employees on HR related queries. * Assist in the forming and maintaining of employee records and updating relevant databases * Assisting in the preparation of HR documents, e.g. employment contracts, references, resignation letters, confirmation of maternity letters, etc. * Contributing to specific HR and organisational projects / initiatives as required * To maintain information in a confidential manner, following data protection regulations and ensuring the HR operational team and personnel files and recruitment records are GDPR compliant. About You * Flexibility towards work assignments with the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks simultaneously and to prioritise workload whilst maintaining attention to detail. * High level of independence, being able organise your time and priorities. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Highly methodical and organised, including time-management skills amid changing priorities * Able to take initiative and work independently; sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks * Computer literate with programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. To be eligible for our human resources apprenticeship level 3 you will need: * A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9-5 or A*-C (in pre-2017 tariff) including English language (not literature) and Maths. * A level’s in two subjects would also be beneficial. * You will be working within a confidential environment, and it will be essential that you act with integrity and are able to maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
