Trainee Logistics Supervisor

Streamline are currently recruiting on behalf of a company within the recycling industry, seeking a dedicated Trainee Logistics Supervisor to join their team. Location: Purfleet RM15 Salary: £33,000 per annum Rota: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 18:00, 42.5 hrs week Benefits: 22 days’ holiday (increasing with service), pension, Employee Assistance Programme, medical & dental cover In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Operations to learn all aspects of logistics within a busy recycling company. You’ll gain hands-on experience in route planning, optimisation, and driver support, ensuring smooth daily operations and helping to resolve on-road issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities: * Planning and optimising routes to ensure efficiency * Supporting drivers with real-time assistance and debriefing after shifts * Assisting with recruitment and training of new team members * Handling parking ticket resolutions and ensuring accurate client data management Candidate Requirements: * A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced logistics environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Strong written and spoken English skills * Resides within a one-hour commute of Purfleet RM15 Why This Role?
