SEN teachers and tutors urgently required in and around the Croydon area. We have a wide range of Primary and secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) outreach roles available for a September 2024 start, both part-time and full-time, with flexible shift patterns. As a tutor for Remedy you would be delivering the SEN/core curriculum. We have short and long term assignments available either in the mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings with some work available on the weekends. You will be working with students that require specialised educational support in line with their EHCP educational outcomes and this could include but not limited to children with ASD, ADHD, ADD, GDD, delayed speech and language, ODD, amongst many other SENs that could inhibit their learning. We do not provide tutors with the curriculum, so we are looking for experienced professionals who are confident in assessing a child's learning needs, and be able to plan and implement bespoke packages of education tailored to each child they are working with. You should have a good up-to-date knowledge of the SEN code of practice, and the ability to differentiate the National Curriculum for children with SEN. You should have: at least 2 years' experience teaching and working closely with children with SEN in the UK a UK recognised teaching qualification (ideally with QTS) an enhanced DBS registered on the DBS update service (if not you can apply for a new DBS with Remedy) a passion for supporting SEN students to progress and achieve their educational outcomesPlease contact Dean at Remedy Tutors as soon as possible to register your interest for this role or for similar teaching and tutoring roles.
