We are looking for an individual to support our A Level students in achieving success in their studies and in progressing to higher education destinations.
The successful candidate will be able motivate, inspire, and encourage students, have a good understanding of study at this level, and possess excellent organisational and administrative skills. Communication skills are essential, as the role requires working with a wide range of stakeholders, and meeting with students daily, both individually, and in group settings.
This role is fundamental to the success of our A level students and is valued by all stakeholders. It is important that the successful candidate is resilient and flexible to change in this fast-paced and rewarding role.
Applicants do not need to be qualified teachers (although this would be advantageous) but do need to have achieved a minimum of a Level 6 qualification, worked with young people in an educational setting, and be confident in supporting academic study.
Potential applicants are welcome to discuss the post informally with Craig Osborne, Head of A Levels.
