SEO Executive - In house Wakefield £26,000- £28,000 DOE I am currently working with a household name wholesaler to appoint an SEO Executive into their internal marketing team. About the Company: A company that has been around for over 50 years and a well-known European wholesaler. With a large presence in West Yorkshire, they are now looking for an SEO Executive to support their other marketing employees. Although some of the marketing efforts will be contracted by agencies, this company is a firm believer of keeping things in house to ensure the branding that they are well known for is consistent throughout all of their communication. About You: You passion for SEO and what it adds to the marketing efforts of a company far outweigh your preference to work agency side or in house. You want to dive deep into the analytics, get under the skin of a brand and understand the way in which their consumers think. As such, you will be looking for a role where you have a whole host of data and channels to play with. You will also have: At least 2 years experience in an SEO role or working closely with an SEO team A solid understanding of tools used across SEO such as Google Analytics, Screaming Frog or SEMrush Responsibilities: Like a lot of SEO roles, your main focus is on keywords and how the target audience behaves when shopping online. You will then be involved in implementing these keywords to improve searchability but you will also be focusing on improvements on the website, blog posts ect to ensure that the keywords can also be found in there. This will be something you work cross collaboratively on with other parts of the department to ensure that other marketing efforts are staying in line with the SEO goal. This for example may be the PR team and looking at ways in which you can work together to obtain backlinks on relevant news articles.
