Senior Export Contract Manager Industry- Defence/ National Security Location- Stevenage (Hybrid 2-3 days On-Site) Clearance- British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship The Opportunity: A leading Integrated Defence Company seeks a Senior Export Contract Manager to leverage your extensive commercial, financial, and project management skills to take charge of and successfully deliver complex, high-stakes export contracts in the defence/national security industry. The Role: As a Senior Export Contract Manager you will manage a portfolio of export contracts, guaranteeing smooth delivery and strong partnerships. You’ll take the lead on contract negotiations, navigate risks, and cultivate stakeholder relationships across borders. Working closely with international teams will be essential as you pursue new business opportunities and fuel the growth of global initiatives. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping the impact of these contracts on the world stage. Essential Requirements: • Strong leadership and relationship management skills • Proven experience managing multiple contracts across diverse domains • Ability to deliver contracts on schedule while maintaining customer satisfaction • Risk management and proactive in resolving delivery issues • Experience in contract negotiations and international business development • Ability to navigate complex political environments • Self-motivated and are able to work within a team • Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to cultures • Experience in bid preparation and authorizing submissions • Background in large, multinational organizations with cross-functional collaboration experience Benefits: • Salary- £60,000-£70,000 • Company Bonus: Bonus of up to 27% of base salary • Car Allowance: £300/month • Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14% • Enhanced parental leave: offers up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
