Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:
1:1 and Small Group Teaching: Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and complex needs.
Adapt and Inspire: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the individual learning needs of each child, ensuring they are supported in reaching their full potential.
Collaborate: Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and the wider school community to provide an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Progress Monitoring: Track pupil progress, using data to adapt teaching strategies and ensure ongoing development.
The ideal Primary Teacher would have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
SEN experience working with pupils who have SLD, complex needs, and other special educational needs.
A proactive, compassionate, and adaptable teaching style, with the ability to manage a range of learning needs.
Confidence in working with primary-aged children, ensuring a supportive, structured, and engaging learning experience.
