CWIEME’s participants lead the global electrical engineering revolution with electrical products of the future being sourced and technical developments being discussed at our shows and conferences. Key Responsibilities Grow new business revenue in the Europe through self-sourcing leads and responding to inbound leads in a timely manner. Grow digital and sponsorship revenue by utilizing omni channel approach. Successfully achieve sales / revenue targets and performance objectives while predominantly office based. Customer centric focus to deliver outstanding customer experience. Use current market information & knowledge to analyse trends and make recommendations regarding Sales Plan and Strategy. Successfully achieve/exceed specified targets and performance objectives. Be knowledgeable about market, customers, competitors, and products to sell solutions to customers effectively. Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation. Look for upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow a customers spend with us. Ensure accurate use and maintenance of system supporting sales activities. Ensure sales administration activities (reports, meetings, sales plans) are completed in an effective and timely manner. Work in collaboration with internal teams e.g., Marketing, Content and Operations, ensuring all activities are considered from a customer’s viewpoint to build strong and lasting customer relationships. And here’s what we’re looking for from you: Experience selling in the European market – Fluency in Italian written and spoken is preferred Experience winning back lost accounts. Ability to travel and spend time in market across Europe. Experience working in B2B (client facing) role. Sales experience delivering targets essential. Digital / Sponsorship sales experience preferred. Good literacy and numeric skills required. Computer literate and able to show use of a CRM to support an organised approach to sourcing and converting new business. Ability to work in a high performing, fast paced matrix environment. Sales experience delivering targets preferred. Positive attitude. Cultural awareness. Demonstrable proven negotiation skills. Confidence in negotiation with C-Level executives. Persuasive, confident and good listening skills. Proven relationship building skills that helps build trust and rapport with new and lapsed customers. Media telephone sales experience desirable. Interested in keeping up to date with trends and current issues within your business sector and the event industry as a whole.
