Multi-Skilled Engineer

You have the opportunity to join a successful business in the Shropshire region that are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to the team. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, responsible for carrying out reactive & preventative maintenance across the facility utilising the CMMS stores system to accurately record completed repairs. Client Details My client are a respected, well-known manufacturer in the Shropshire region & having gone through a period of sustained growth are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to their department. You will be working as part of a large engineering department, repairing & servicing key equipment across the facility. Description As the Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be reporting into the site Engineering Manager, responsible for reactive & preventative maintenance on both mechanical & electrical equipment across the facility. As well as: Key Responsibilities: You will be to carry out any plant upgrades and improvements, as well as regular PPM's and cleaning schedules You will also be involved with breakdowns and replacement of parts as required and be available for the plant start up in the morning by offering electrical support fast moving, fast paced environment, requiring working on your own under tight deadlines and with a passion to help improve the plant overall Adhere to health, safety and environmental and company policies There will be a need from time to time to assist and be involved with the mechanical side of the plant and team during breakdowns and improvements as required for the need of the business so an understanding and ability to work on the mechanical side4 on 4 off - 12 Hours - Days & Nights (07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00) Profile You will ideally be an multi-skilled engineer/technician, that has experience working in a manufacturing environment, as well as: Recognised Engineering qualification Good mechanical & electrical aptitude is required Planned preventative maintenance experience would be beneficial Good communication skills Positive, proactive attitudeJob Offer £50,000 - £53,000 Overtime Paid Healthcare Cash Plan Pension Scheme Rewards Platform Career Progression
